Say one was the driver - if they high tail it out they can claim the friend had "borrowed the car" and they have no idea who the two "other" people were.

Or they have drugs in the car/on them.

    Or warrents .

The driver hit the mustang that stopped to help. Im sure the mustang had their lights on at 0230. Please keep defending UPS. Id love to know how this is not a preventable accident.

I travel this section of road every other day, UPS runs 65 no matter what is in front of them.

I was defending a driver doing his or her job. Last I checked a stranded or stopped vehicle on a roadway should have road flares, and or emergency warning devices other than 4 ways? Please continue to tell me how liable that UPS driver Is? Mr. milk man.

From what I understand is the sonata was on it's roof on the westbound lanes probably pitch dark since it was 2 am.
UPS probably didn't see it till it was too late. Tried avoiding it but ended up hitting it and then the mustang in the shoulder.

If that's the case, the driver won't be getting sued. Doubtful UPS will even lose if they get sued.

There's no reason that the cars themselves can't talk to each other and alert the drivers to issues ahead. Put GPS in cars so they know where they are. Whenever they crash or otherwise become disabled in a travel lane, they send out a signal that's received by other vehicles in the area telling them where the issue is, and whether the driver needs to take action to avoid an incident.

CB radio range in a mobile configuration is only reliable for 3 miles or so. So unless someone's giving updates every 60 seconds, you're not going to hear it until you've run up on it anyway.

The BS on the CB makes me keep it turned off anyway.

As for why everyone ran? I'd guess they were running drugs.

warrants....we agree then...they are thieves.....in most likely, a stolen car...how many thieves, actually buy a car?
