UPS, Teamsters reach agreement

Is anyone else seeing a pattern here?

Concerning unions, and the control of pension/insurance plans/trust.

 

Definitely a pattern. $28 an hour and rising another $9 over five years. I see another pattern, union pay is the best!

 

GM suckered the UAW into getting the VEBA. Let's GM off the hook for over 15 billion dollars.

And if you think the UAW can handle retiree benefits, ask folks at CAT how they feel about it. Or many other places the UAW botched it.

There is reason the stock price of GM surged after the UAW announcement.

 

75 cents an hour each year over 5 is not 9$

 

The new contract sucks for upsers the increase in pay is not much considering all the work we do. The new contract actually favors ups and not union members I am disgusted with the new union contract. I pay union dues every month and I do not see any improvement in working conditions. What I see is the union is in ups pocket for 6 billion dollars of bail out for the central states fund. Trust me I and every other upser was sold out last contract . The union sucks just as much as ups does

 

Vote it down. All you can do if you feel it is that bad a deal.

 

Realize something, the Teamsters and UPS are in the same bed together. I don't know about other Locals, but the Local where I live is a complete joke.
