Has anyone ever take US 220 south out of Cumberland MD? Im trying to get from Cumberland MD to Romney WV.
Then maybe US 220 down to Moorfield? Id hop on US 48 east to get back to I-81 I believe @Dave1837 is familiar with the US 48 portion.

Yea unless someone tells me 220 south the 33 to harrisonburg is a good route I wont try that
Yeah I think Im ok 220S to 50 to Romney.... and I looked on another thread here and another driver has been across US 48 from I-81 to somewhere in VA.
I know 48E from Moorefield to I-81 is good. Also wondering if 220 From Romney to Moorefield is any good.OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
You be the ok, 220 & 50 not a bad road for WV, just respect it, some of them roads can be hairy with folks not paying attention….

Edit to add: On a motorcycle....... Ive forgot all about looking for good truck routes through the area
