No road is safe. Watch out for all the loons excited to get their watercraft wet/see a girl half-naked for the first time since last year, maybe especially the former.

Checking those itty-bitty trailer tires before running them 80-85 mph is apparently a lot harder than a truck driver might imagine.

Aint that the truth! More gators from rv trailers in AZ and CA than from trucks.

Can't remember if the train tracks on 95 are north or south of Needles but SLOW DOWN when you come to them or you will get some Dukes of Hazard action. They are ROUGH!

I turn left at Vidal Jctn and go thru Parker, that POE is usually closed. Then just take the 72 to Vicksburg and then south to the 10. Shortest route and you can stop in Parker for any refreshments you may need!!

They're north of the 40 junction. I think right where old US66 (SB County 66) splits off.

Yeah, that 20mph bump ahead sign means it! I scrubbed off 25mph before crossing one nite (train was coming too) but i was still doing about 35mph when i hit it. Holy cow! That stretch of 95 where the tracks cross is just north of where Sam Kinison was killed in a head-on crash. Twisty, hilly, blind curve road that, but the moment you cross into Nevada it becomes four lanes wide and straight as an arrow.

You do if you turn left at Vidal junction and right into Parker there’s one there but typically never open no overweight loads allowed to cross the Colorado here tho some do it’s a risky fine if scale does happen to be open

I haven't seen that port open in years,by far this is the best route. Years ago,it was 24/7 open.
