I've done food for almost 3 years now and US foods is so much better than Sysco. I think Sysco likes to fill the trucks as full as possible and say good luck screw the customer.

Taking home almost 3k a week is nice here too.

Weekends don't really mean anything to me right now at this point in my life so I can see where bryan21384 is coming from, but it's pretty obvious why 99% of people with a local job would want the weekend off if they could get the same pay working M-F somewhere else. Even if you don't have kids most of your friends are going to be off and doing stuff on the weekend because they work M-F. Not hard to see why somebody would want to be a part of that instead of bumping docks and unloading trucks while the rest of your friends and family are out enjoying life together.

sometimes your best friend is with your wife when your at work....believe me I know =(
....but weekends aren't important anymore once you hit OTR all 48
