Us foods strike

GFS in Pittsburgh is all full on drivers plus we have no sign on bonus, I always get people asking me how they can work for GFS. In fact I don't think we even have a now hiring sign up anymore.

About a month ago i was on i70 wb and saw a o/o in the eb lane with one us foods pup and a dolly pulled over on the shoulder. A little was down the road was a us foods pup sitting in the middle of the interstate.

 

DOH!

 

Someone on here said it and it's true you must always always always when pulling double or triples check the pintel hook twice to make sure the dolly is attached and you must always check the lock jaws around the king pin on the tag trailer same as you would a trailer attached to your tractor.

 

Get in a pre trip routine, follow it consistently, check and DOUBLE check everything!
