I haven't been seeing as many Grainger loads to Fountain Inn lately. The South Holland yard use to be constantly full of them. Even the Macedonia loads have nearly vanished. Probably the reason for the trailer moves.

Sittin at Pactiv in Franklin Park IL getting unloaded then off to De Kalb for some tires to Fenton, mo. Looks like a fun place to hit a dock at when I looked on google maps.

Almost had to wait until 1300 to offload even though I had an 0900 appt. Seems another usa driver came in at 0830 and told them he had an 0900 appt. I asked him what time he was supposed to be here he said 1300 but wanted to deliver early. They thought it was my load and started on him. Told me I'd have to wait until 1300. I was not happy to say the least. I think the other driver knows this. Claimed he was told it was open in front of the clerk. The clerk said the driver told him he had an early appt. I think I'm gonna believe the clerk as the driver had already told me he had a 1300 appt when I arrived.

I guess the clerk felt bad because he caught me before I left and said he'd get to me now.

    Ok I'm thru venting....

Well I ended this week with 3058miles. I consider the week from monday midnight until the next monday at midnight. Anyway I sent all the transflo stuff from my cab. I really like that USA told me where the software was so I could use my scanner and laptop to send it. Sure beats standing in a truck stop sending it...

Frog, you are right, they will do it for me, but that means I have to go in the truck stops. During my time on the road, I have figured out if I stay out of the truck stop and only use them for showers, I save a lot of money. Everytime I go in a truck stop it cost me at least $2 bucks for a soda or water, so If I just do it from my truck, I save money.

This is just me, I have no will power when it comes to junk food, so if I stay away from it, I am better off...

I know the feeling. But if you buy fuel at Loves the soda/coffee refills are free. And I'm getting 4 points per gallon right now.

Ended week with 2900 miles, but a upset at USA. Been out for 4 weeks and put in for home time for Sept. 17th on August 21, when I started. I reminded FM several times on the Qualcomm that Sept. 17th was my 35th wedding anniversary and my wife's 60th Birthday. So it was kind of an important time for home time for me. If they were slow any other time no big deal.

Guess what today is Sept. 16 and I am 1800 miles away from home, so I am going to miss my anniversary party that my kids and grand kids had planned for us and also miss my wife celebrating her 60th birthday. It is what it is... Not much else can be said. Needless to say, I am upset...

Oh well, I guess I will get over it, after all I am a worthless truck driver and should not have a life.

USA is transitioning back to the longer haul loads right now and are getting away from the every other weekend home time. I stay out 4-5 weeks at a time.

Maybe but he put in three weeks ago and told them why it was important. No excuse for this one DG.
