Curious,,have any of you guys use a electric scooter to get your vehicles and stage them before loading them and delivering them also??
    Seems like a neat idea....

Your own two legs not good nuff?

Gotta spend 600$ to go half a mile so that you end up needing to use a 600 $ machine at home (treadmill) to not go anywhere?

seriously, just save your money, if you need to spend some money, get a foldaway bike or even a fold down scooter for far cheaper and get a tiny amount of excersize with no charging issues and the same or smaller footprint in truck and 4x less $

Heck no, any chance I had to get out of the truck, and stretch my legs was welcome. Work the dock, sweep trailers, run the yard dog for a couple hours, etc.

I believe he posted his question on the carhauler forum to get carhaulers opinions. If you have hauled cars out of an auction or some rail yards you know it can be one mile or better to each car. Exactly the reason I don’t haul auction cars. All of my cars are relatively close to my rig and I walked 3 miles before noon. IMG_2762.png

Makes more sense, but i think i still stand by my foldable unpowered scooter assertion being a better option

I don’t know about the different options but I definitely see someone who hauled out of certain locations benefiting from some form of portable device.

There was a guy, can't recall his name, that used to load next to me occasionally in Newburgh and he had a foldable bike to run back and forth with. I'm with Banker, there is a lot of walking at auction houses. I would walk 7-10 miles a day doing my short haul trips.

I do remember security giving him a hard time about it and he had to go back to walking, so make sure the yards or auctions you load on will allow a scooter or other personal transportation device before investing in one.
