USED APU worth it for a used truck?

Lithium battery pack will not let you run every thing in the truck in the middle of nowhere 60 hours comtiunusly..
My setup with 4x 2gl cans will... a 34 only requires.a full tank and 2 cans... your battery pack requires you to idle just to recharge

no way would i buy a truck with 500- 600 k miles on it your just asking to spend more money since it would be comming up for an inframe and overhaul

 

i have a freind that did the mini split. lets say he regretted it every 90 days something would go wrong with it. he went with a window unit cutting a hole in the back of the truck to mount it

 

I retired my last truck with 1,397k. The only engine work ever done was injector cups at 1,100k
This truck has just under 900k with just injector cups

 

oh wow what kind of truck was it and what motor?

 

the only way i see that working is in winter with something like a cheap chinese diesel heater since they don't use much wattage

1st was a 2006 Volvo with a Volvo d12d. had 417k when I got it
2nd 2015 prostar with a Cummings ISX 15 had 405k

 

Get (3) Carbon Monoxide Detectors. One for yourself, and one for each driver that is parked next to you. These DIY generator APU's are the loudest, most obnoxious setups. Last one I encountered, I was backing into a spot. Before I got all the way back, I could already hear that generator screaming along. I got out to see if I could go back a little more and the gas fumes were overwhelming. I just pulled out of there and found another spot. I hope that driver woke up in the morning.

 

Well then thay had a crappy cheap a-- $300 generator because you can stand next to mine and have a normal conversation and you can't smell anything even standing 3ft behind the exhaust
