Been here for a month now.

Hub miles, fuel bonus, per diem (I guess some people consider that a negative? I like it, don't have to worry about messing with that credit at the end of the year (and paying the preparer $50+ extra to fill out the form)).

No fuel solutions, they have their own app that does a number of things including show their fuel prices at PFJs in every state, you just go for the cheapest one the way you're going. The app also does paperwork scanning and such.

For the most part they've had me bouncing back and forth between WI and OK/TX. Big long runs. And did I mention hub miles?

I took a pay cut from ASL but between the fuel bonus and 9 cents being non-taxable (per diem) I still bring home about what I did there.

The president *is* a driver, the VP *is* a driver, the safety guy drove for 10 years, etc.

This might turn out to be the best company I've worked for.

Hey 244, V&S have been around a while. I use to load cheese where they did. Drivers seemed happy. I wouldn't worry about the hub mile thing. That kerfuffle was when there many different ways you could go, and we never trusted where their hub miles came from, but today, there's generally one way to get somewhere , and it's not a big deal. Good equipment, good company. Best of luck

I was talking about the per diem being a possible negative to some people, I'm not worried about it.

Now I know who you drive for, Kind of a confusing with the company name versus the name on the trailer. Seems like they always had nice clean trucks.
    Good luck with them,

Hub miles are a good thing...what happened to ASL? Thought things were going o.k. for you there. (I haven't been keeping up with the thread since they said they don't hire out of my area)

HUB ( or ODO ) is far better than driving part of your day for free

    What's the rate please ?

The base rate I get is .44, you can get up to 5 cents in fuel bonus and .09 of it is per diem (non-taxable) so withholding is lower than you might normally be used to and you don't have to worry about saving all your logs.
