    Morning, All.
I currently have five Cummins 6.7 CM2350's in 2018 Freightliner M2106's. Two sound like they need an overhead run with just over 5K miles and 1K hours.

This seems way ahead of the recommended maintenance schedule in the Cummins manual. Any chance of getting this covered under warranty? We do a LOT of annual business with the regional DTNA dealer.

Valve adjustments are just that adjustments which are normally not covered under any warranty. A part failure would have to be identified for anything to apply to warranty.

Exactly what does an engine sound like that needs an adjustment? Perhaps you should take it in with your complaint and let the service location determine the defect. It is unlikely that any major adjustments will be needed at that mileage that will affect anything noticable. With that kind if mileage/run time you might wanna start driving them some more. 5mph average speed is not good for the engine any way you look at it.

    Heavyd Thanks this.
