    Haven’t seen a Cottrell trailer axle on fire in a while. It seems like back a dozen or so years ago Allied was burning one every day or so.

    Anything is possible but from the look of the photo it was the trailer axle that started it in my opinion. For some reason carhaulers are terrible about catching fire and the vast majority are caused by the trailer axle.
