Any of you guys and gals know someone, suggest someone that cuts vinyl lettering? I want to put the name of my truck on the back bulkhead of the sleeper. Someone who is familiar with trucks, knows fonts and kerning.

Any print or sign shop. There is nothing special about it going on a truck. It's just painted metal after all.

I’ve used Harris Decals in Lincoln NE a few times now and have been happy with the results.

Order online, they’ll send you a visual to make sure you’re happy then they cut and ship within a day or so.

I thought their prices were reasonable and customer service is polite and helpful.

I had a friend cut the lettering, and I put it on myself. A trick I learned is to mix a couple drops of dish soap in a spray bottle, and lightly spray the surface before sticking the decals on. This way you can still adjust the lettering if it’s slightly crooked. After that use a squeegee, or credit card wrapped in wax paper to get the bubbles out. It works really well.

Are you doing the design work or do you need the sign shop to do that too?

Measure with tape measure and use painters tape to use as a guide. No sense in guessing and making a mess and ruining the adhesive in the lettering

My guy does mainly race cars - stock cars, midgets etc.

Try googling ' race car graphics ' around your area.

    It's all the same thing.

Let your fingers do the walking.
    Try the Yellow Pages.
