Wait, what? How did he get his citizenship without the ability to understand English? Last time I checked (personally, IRL) you have to be conversant in English to receive citizenship.

 

He came out of the gate like gangbusters but has gotten pretty quiet.

 

There might be one honest politician in a hundred but I doubt it.

 

Could New York possibly get any worse ?

I will say he has been good on his commitment to get more truck parking..states are adding spots everywhere... But he needs to get more aggressive

 

I wouldn't say he came out like gang busters. He made a bunch of noise, but that's it. Okay, ELP is an OOS violation, but the carrier has the ability to re-certify the driver. There has been no push to investigate/suspend carriers who have drivers that fail ELP tests. Nor has there been any attempt to change the CDL test to ensure ELP, or a requirement for all CDL holders to be tested for ELP upon renewal. It's all pomp and circumstance will no substance underneath.

 

Please look into when the funding for that truck parking was authorized. Trump has expanded on the grant program started under Biden, but those funds have yet to be used.
