So am looking to buy a Volvo just for the ride comfort and road vibration reduction. Is there a difference between the 670 vs 780 in terms of ride comfort? Or is it just can size difference. Thanks

It will be more how you spec it.
If you want less vibrations get the single screw with the pusher axle that lifts.

Am concerned more of vibrations in the steering wheel and chair. Can't do pusher axle as I drive the snowy states in the winter. Is air suspension standard on the front axles?

air suspension is definitely not standard and usually the 700 series rides better than the 600 series trucks.
Pusher axle isn't much difference in snowy states.. unless you plan on doing a bunch of off-road it wouldn't scare me.

Get the longer wheel base which smooths it out a bit. Also, Volvo has an option known as adaptive loading, which is different than a traditional pusher axle. It can fully lift up, which also helps with mileage. It's referred to as adaptive loading and I've heard good reviews even in wintery condition.
Maybe look at the 860 with the D13 at 500hp with I-shift.
Check out Provost Motorsports on youtube. He has the D13 with the turbo compounding and reports impressive fuel mileage running fairly heavy loads.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.
