I’ve read through old forums until I am blue! Please help diagnose the real problem. We have a 2016 Volvo VNL780. Our blower stopped working today.
    Here‘s what we know:
1.Knob will not change the speed of air flowing through the vents.
2.When truck is moving: Air comes through vents when button is pushed to let outside air through. 3.Air coming through vents is cool.
    4.Sleeper Vents are working fine.

Question: is this the fan motor, the resistor, sensor, a fuse, or something else? Like everyone else, we don’t want to fix something that isn’t messed up! Thank you in advance for your input.

First of all you need to test the fan motor itself by putting direct power to the fan leads to determine if the fan works or doesn’t.

if the fan works, it’s most likely the fan speed switch.

If the fan doesn’t work, after jumping it, replace the fan motor.
