Volvo fridge is always max freezing

What fridge do you have? I have the tall one behind the driver on my 860, same one that was in my 780. Just has a dial control inside, I keep it on 3-4.

Put a bluetooth thermometer in there and watch it from your phone, or this kind (link below). I keep mine above the visor up front so I can always know the temp inside my fridge.

I have a wireless thermometer in both my Volvo fridge and my personal freezer. It's well worth it. I set alarms on them.

The reason I actually do that is because of what happened coming out of home time one time. I had loaded my freezer full of food, I mean FULL on a Friday afternoon. Mine is like 3.2cu ft, so it's not tiny. I was supposed to leave out Saturday morning but then my company tells me "We have no load, you'll leave out on Monday." Ok, Sunday evening I go to put a couple more things in the freezer and I open it and am hit with the most horrid smell of rotting food. Come to find out, I had unplugged it when I came in and FORGOT to plug it back in. I probably lost close to $300 in food, easily. The freezer before that, I also had break in the middle of my trip. Now, the thermometer wouldn't have helped much, but the only way I realized I had an issue was everything was wet and dripping and not cold. Again, lost all my food.

So now, I bought a dual channel temp thermometer. It's dual channel so I can put one transmitter in my personal freezer and the other in the truck fridge and monitor BOTH at the same time. The one I have now actually reaches from in the truck out in the driveway to inside my house. So while I'm getting stuff together the day before I leave, I can make sure that temps are correct. No more losing food.
