Volvo initial brake pressure loss

Volvo initial brake pressure loss setting off buzzer when applying foot to pedal.
It quickly recovers, almost instantly, but the initial pedal feel is weak, so it's not just the gauge and buzzer that freaks me out.
Anybody else had this before?
