Volvo Rand Issues, ELD trouble

After hooking up tnd 765 to 2015 volvo 630 via spider cable to fuse panel in dash, check transmission message appears and traction control and hill assist lights blink on and off continuously. Could a cable from an old qualcomm still being connected in there be my problem? Rand unit says it passes all tests when hooked up, but truck wont perform properly. Without rand hooked up she runs beautifully. Any help greatly appreciated.
