My w900a clearance light switch(runs cab lights and trailer side marker lights) keeps tripping. Thought at first maybe a weak breaker. But upon inspection it’s been so hot the wire has melted a little. Think it’s a bare wire somewhere shorting out?

Is this the wire to the switch on the panel melted?

Yes, you have a wire hitting somewhere. Good luck that can be pretty labor intensive. Not fun

No. Just off the circuit breaker panel towards passenger side. Light rocker switch wiring is ok
