So your response to parking illegally is to run illegally in respect to HOS? You sir are the reason we have ELD's now.....

 

Why would you let a complete stranger yell at you? Go back in the sleeper as they're yelling, close the curtain, wait til they walk away then leave.

 

I watched a wrecker rudely awaken these people at a TA.

 

There are spots. Don't worry. Ive blatantly going to say Stop and Shop distribution and parked with the others waiting for a dock, only I will never be bothered because they are not interested in me. =)

 

When I was OTR I would stop during the day on my break at a truck stop. Grab a shower cause there were no lines. Stock on lunch and dinner for later. Then I’d be on my way. I’d check a ATLAS MAP for rest areas on my trip and try to land a spot there or near my time to stop a ramp in the middle of no where. I’d start looking before I was dead tired or out of time. I’d use a truck stop book which would tell you the XL truckstops and I might attempt a shot at that. I would never attempt a truckstop that was medium or larger around the time I shut down near a city or in a city. Amazing what books tools you have at your disposal that no one uses no more. I’d always check before I took off after my 10. It’s all about prior planning.

Truck stops and your fellow drivers are getting tired of you people parking anywhere you want and acting like its ok..

It's not ok you aren't entitled to anything..
