The blame need to go to the right place. Sometimes it IS the store, but this is just bull.

Stores ban trucks for a couple reasons.

    Local Ordinance
Land Owner stipulated at leased properties
Damage from allowing trucks exceeds cost of barriers

There are some stores particularly Ohio, Indianna, and Georgia that we have warnings on our trip sheets that we will be fined for breaking there.

Yes, though usually only applies to WM drivers.
These same "no break" stores are usually a safe haven and full of OTR companies. :-(

    06driver Thanks this.

Yeah sometimes. I park in the dock at those (with the caveat there is an open dock)

Lol, don't do that at 6952. They have 3 docks, one was coned off. I asked after getting unloaded if ok to park in that one was told ok.

2 hours later a young sassy female told me I had to move or she would call police. Also told me I couldn't idle truck, (apu) it was 25 degrees that night.

I was still half asleep pointed down to name on door of truck. She said she didn't care. I told her do what you have to do, but you should choose your battles wisely.

I had a support manager call a tow truck at 1564. When he got there he refuses to hook a Walmart truck at a Walmart store;)
