    Sheeeeeit, I WISH!!!ROTFLMAO
Closest thing I had to that growing up was a 1986 Ford Escort Pony 2 door hatchback with a 4-speed manual with a shift indicator light(which hardly ever worked). That car only had a fuel gauge and speedometer-no A/C,roll-up windows and the closest thing to entertainment was an aftermarket AM/FM cassette radio I put in! The 1.9 liter CVH engine Ford put in it had 86 screaming H.P. that was fed by a Holley 2 barrel carburetor that loved to vapor-lock after a high speed run or operating in a hot temperature environment (summertime in Northern Illinois is always hot, especially in July and August).
(had the car been built 1 year later it would’ve benefited from central fuel injection and gotten up to 90 H.P.). For a slow car it was literally a cop magnet, especially in hometown, let alone in Kane and DuPage Counties!! SMH

Man. Them were cheap but really good reliable cars back then. I honestly cant recall seeing one in action in 30 years tho. Makes you wonder where they all went. They were everywhere.

Well I know mine went to the junkyard after it caught fire on me! Was driving on I-355 near Addison when the engine went KLUNK on me and quit! I coasted off the highway onto Army Trail Road and pulled over. Popped open the hood to find a fire brewing around the carburetor!
Front end of the car went up in flames in less than 5 minutes! It was hot enough to warp the hood!

Newest ones I’ve seen running around as of late were the latest ones built (3rd generation 1997-2002).
