We called the corporate office because our dispatch didn't know what to do. She was relatively new in the position and not familiar with the trucking world. She had been doing it less than a year....

We called their corporate office. I asked for directory assistance and got the number, and then called.

As a licensed concealed carry, some of those are valid threats and you really should consider calling the law.

All stop at that point, document the problems with the individuals making valid threats and profanity etc vs you and husband.

    You follow me?

Ive had people posture in certain story time situations being theratical once in a while, I do the same thing myself but take pains it's not a valid threat. HOWEVER. One boss in Little Rock actually make a threat to my face in front of two witnesses, one a co manager, and other a coworker to me.

Someone tell me why you think a Owner/Boss should lose his temper to the point of threatening a lowly employee driver whom he can easily fire or kick out with a wave of his hand with far less effort. That tells me that the Boss has long since lost his marbles and made it personal with me. I made the decision to leave the truck and everything there for him to drive. IF he is so concerned about the quality of work, then the least he can do is stop the profanity and ranting, get out of the silo tower and get going. Hes late. =)

We unloaded the trailer. We were given equipment after someone higher than store level actually got involved. They basically stood there and continued to insult us as they watched. We just unloaded and got the hairy out of there. And, thank you for being chivalrous.

It is actually a form of verbal battery, simple battery abusive.

If I put together the right words, knowing enough of a victim well enough to insult same properly where it hurts and then make valid threats to that persons well being, livelhood or even the family or home? Perhaps the children?

Forbid that I be so stupid to do that. Nice families tend to become very ferocious in protecting their own against Mr Big Mouth verbally assaulting them. You follow me?

I wish nothing but peace and love to you and yours, home hearth and good things this coming thanks giving.

Get a small black book, and write that shipper or reciever into it. Make sure you never have a load going back there. If a Dispatcher sticks you with it. Call the next dispatcher and say you threw your axle nuts out and need to hand off the loaded trailer onto some other relay driver to run it there.

I'm glad you got back to us. Otherwise, we have no idea what's going on. Sounds to me, like a lack of experience all the way around. You were there, we weren't. All we can say, after years of dealing with these schmucks, you kind of get the hang of what works and what doesn't. I'm glad someone listened and you got unloaded, I still have faith in people, and someone will care, eventually. Personally, and being a man, may be easier, but when I finally did get unloaded, pulled my truck away, I'd have shut the truck off, went in as a customer, and found that person, and let them have it. I've had nothing but great success at Walmarts, and people like that won't be around long. Now you know what trucking can involve, it's not all sunshine and smiles, like in the brochure.
