I know a former driver that would sign his comic book "Mikey Mouse". He never told me if that got him into trouble.

Tell them you have to call your dispatcher, go to your truck print out one of you own saying you are not responsible for anything or anyone that you run over to include the gate guard shack and guards and tell them you will sign theirs if they sign yours then tell then by the way this is my first time driving a truck

This is not relieving them of responsibility for their actions, only any liability from your actions or actions of your employees.

Example: your company doesn't have workers comp insurance and you or your employee gets hurt. They would use this to try and avoid the liability.

If they smashed out the side of your trailer a statement releasing them of responsibility that is forced to be signed to deliver would not hold up in court, likely not even have to go that far. Just file with your company and they will get theirs to pay.

Had a guy in front of me one day tell the guard he didn't have to give her his drivers license because it had is personal information on it. (as if this 21yr old girl cared where he lived) She looked at him and said "your right sir, you don't have to. You also don't have to get loaded here" Some of these guys need to pick their battles. If your in my place you follow my rules or leave. If I don't like their policy, I don't go back.

There is currently a lawsuit against a security guard company in Fl.
    Multiply driver ID's were stolen.
    Be careful.

The easiest way to keep your ID safe is to have really bad credit. You never have to worry about anyone opening any accounts in your name. Wonder how many times that happens, someone steals someone's ID then finds out they don't even have good enough credit to rent a movie!:biggrin_2559:
