Walmart is raising wages. Target. Most sam's clubs that aren't closing.

Everybody is raising wages. Except trucking companies.

STAY HOME. MAKE MORE MONEY. And take a shower every day.

You no longer need to be treated like a slave monkey for pennies an hour.

I"m gonna have to start asking for a raise myself or threaten to give up my cdl.

People work at Walmart voluntarily. If they want more pay, quit staring at their phone and try learning things that are in demand in the job market.

It’s funny you posted this. It crossed my mind today too. 81 major USA companies have given employee bonuses and raises. The economy is picking up. Finally. I’ve been in economic fear since the end of Bush administration. Felt lucky just to have a trucking job period.

Don’t know if it’s related but at my own company I’m looking at 30 trucks parked in the Birmingham terminal from drivers who quit this week. Normally there might be 3-4. Strange.

Exactly! I worked at Walmart for 5 years until I decided to get my CDL and made a career change. Best decision I ever made. This industry isn’t perfect, but work in a Walmart store and you’ll see that things could always be worse.

I don't seem to have any issues taking one every day on the road. Would be nicer to take one at home without sandals on though.

    That's nice.

90% of the truckers DON'T. And 50% of THOSE use the darn sink.
