    Hey, if you can get a better job, take it! 10 months with a starter company is more than a lot of guys make it to. Just make sure you get with a good company. Almost all HR/recruiters lie their ##### off. I would say check with the bigger LTL companies, they all pay well and you're home every day. Hitting dock doors a dozen or more times a day will have you driving like a veteran in no time.
    Your two mistakes aren't deal breakers by any means, some company that's decent will give you a chance. Try and be patient and wait for the good job offer. If you see a guy at a truck stop looking and acting like a professional driver, don't be shy about asking how his company is and if they are hiring. Don't do lease/purchase and don't let dispatchers push you into something illegal. I think you're on your way! Good Luck!

    I backed my dump truck into the counter weight of an excavator last night. Lol In my defense, it's my 9th straight night of 12 hr shifts. See, we all have a screw up now an again. At least only me and the excavator operator know about mine. We laughed, cuz he's been on the same shifts.
