ok, so this really really ticks me off!!!:biggrin_25510:!!
why do drivers insist on washing their trucks at the fuel island??? nothing ticks me off more then getting out of my truck, to fuel up, cause last time i checked it WAS a fueling station, and not a truck wash... and actually lets i heard they really do have actual truck washes
i like to keep the inside of my truck clean, but when i get out to fuel and step in a nice combination of water/fuel/oil and who the heII knows what els is floating around down there.
so did i miss the part in school, or during oriantation with he company that covered the washing of trucks at the fuel islands...?

Just look at the bug cleaner after it has been used to wash a truck.

Soon2 lol because they are too cheap to spend $ for a truck wash :) Now I really hate when people don't pull ahead after fueling...that is just ignorant.

It is a good time to get rid of your trash and clean your windows. But by all means you should never hold up the line. And anyone with any common sense will know the trash goes into the trash cans. But I agree, you do have idiots out there that think they're the only ones doing a job and will take whatever time they want. Those are the people that need to be taught common courtesy. And I'll bet their actions at the fuel island will match their actions on the road. What ever happened to the good old days?

Gashauler, I didn't mean drivers doing what needs to be done. I mean drivers that fuel up and go inside and don't pull ahead. :) Those are the drivers that are best left alone...their IQ is equal to the number of wheels on their trucks :)

LOL, I used to HATE that! Then all the brushes are all filled with oil, grease, and other crap when all you want to do is your windows! Then...you are smearing grease all over your windows.

I'll wash my windows and thats it. If i'm the only one around I'll run the brush across the top of my hood so it atleast tricks myself into thinking I have a clean truck...

I can't stand someone that won't pull up and walks in to bs or whatever their doing. Been known to toss some freshly chewed gum onto seats and glob nasty used up 5th wheel grease under door handles for that kind of stuff.

ok, now i feel better that im not the only one, but come on man!!! i dont every use that brush, it makes my windows even worse!!!! i bought these window cleaner cloths at the T/S, its got a blue, green and grey towle type thing, works great, the grey one is for getting the bugs off, i would highly recomend it, its only like $3.00
pilot has it, not sure of the other ones.
i pay to have my truck washed, $70 every other week, company only pays to have it washed every 25 days, too long for me!
it just ticks me off what people do while at the pumps.... like you said, common sense!!!
and i wish i was around for the " Old Days " of trucking... im a young buk! 22 here..... trucking aint what it used to be,
now its a job, its not " Trukin " no more!! :(
anyway, ill be sure to check my seat and my door handles from now on before gettig back in the truck :biggrin_25525:....
oh wait, i dont have to do that, cause while im fuelin, im with my truck, and when im done, i get in, and hit the rd!

The ######## who fly thru the fuel island without slowing down to see if anyone is gonna walk thru are the one who really piss me off! Someone is going to get run over one of these days!

I once watched a guy walk over to the fuel island and get the bucket and window thing, walk over to where his truck was parked and started washing it. He must of had plans to take a bath in that bucket being he had his towel that he was gonna dry off with wrapped around his head?:biggrin_2552:

Thats no joke. There is a small truck stop in my town here... barely a truckstop at all. Hell only reason i even call it one is because it has a shower and parking for about 8 trucks. Anyway a couple weeks back I was parked there bs'ing with an old friend that was passing through and a guy flew in the wrong way banging gears and kicking up a arizona dust storm. I guess he was just gonna do a flip and get back on the big road. But he didn't realize that a Waffle house shares the same parking lot, but its up on a hill. He flew up in their parking lot and was hung up. Theres no way a truck can enter or exit that side of the parking lot out to the hiway due to the extreme angle. It would pick your drives up off the ground. I have no idea how he got out besides backing back down the hill he went up, but by the time he got stopped he already rounded the corner and was headed down the steep side. I stuck around another 15 minutes or so and he tried to back up a few times without much luck. No sympathy for someone acting like a fool.
