A lot of what I've read about CSA 2010 makes me believe that it is critical for drivers to know how safety scores are arrived at. Drivers, from what I've gathered from my own reading, ARE THE FOCUS OF CSA 2010. FMCSA has soft-sold CSA 2010 in many ways. FMCSA has indicated that drivers will not receive BASIC scores like carriers will. Drivers will, however, have every single violation, every undotted "i" and every uncrossed "t" available for inspection when a carrier is subjected to an FMCSA intervention.

FMCSA: "Carrier A, you've got a problem. We need to talk to you about Driver X, Driver Y and Driver Z so we can sort out this problem".

There's a lot of confusion out there about the differences between Pre-Employment Screening, Driver Safety Measurement System and driver's records of inspections and violations (DIR).
