Shim the pedal to desired rpm.

Can use a piece of wood. Cut it to the desired length that will keep the pedal where you want it.

There's a tool also, if you can find where to buy it. Fit between the pedal and bottom of dash, then you adjust it to where you want the pedal to be.

Coat hanger to push the pedal down. Just be advised some trucks will shut-off after a few minutes of idling no matter what you do. There are several different levels inside the truck settings that allow idling if you do A or B and going all the way to this truck will shut off while stopped a a traffic light if the idle-timer runs out. There are at least 5 ways I've used on different trucks. And 2 trucks NOTHING I did would allow it to idle beyond 3 minutes. Not, even with brakes released. Those 2 trucks needed the rpms to vary during the 3-minute idle time period or it would shut off.

How about just turn on the Opti Idle and let it so it's thing. It might be a simple solution till you change it. If it has the 8 batteries electric a/c and works it won't start very much.
