This is the worst time of year to drive in snow events. Not enough chloride applications have occurred to accumulate residual amounts in the road surface, so slicker snow accumulates faster and stays longer even in warmer temps near the freezing mark.
But the guard rails usually keep vehicles from entering the center median area at bridge crossings. Must have lost control well before the bridge/water or slid into the rail and the momentum tipped it over. But looking at Google, that's a straight bridge approach, either direction. -
I hope he didn't freeze to death in the water. But the way they said cab was submerged I'm thinking he was unconscious from the initial impact of rolling over and drowned or froze.
