    I am thinking about going into the hot shot business. I have been reading all the great post on here.Tons of great information. I am trying to figure out exactly how much weight I will be able to carry. I think I know how to get that number but wanted to make sure. Can someone explain how to find the proper way to get the amount of weight your truck and trailer can carry?

    Gross combined vehicle weight rating - Scaled vehicle ready to work weight = payload. Generally.
    Payload needs to be spread so non of your axles or wheels are over their rated weight limit.
