Welcome to the madness

Hello all, I have been lurking for a while and just posted a thread in the mechanics forum and figured I might as well introduce myself here.

After being a company driver for 5 years I switched to working in a warehouse last fall. After about 6 months I came to my senses and decided to get back on the road. I always wanted to own a truck so I pulled the trigger and bought a straight truck back in March then leased on with an expedite carrier in April. So far it has been an adventure. I thought I learned a lot in my 5 years as a company driver; but I found out there is SO much more to learn as an owner-op. There are good days and bad days but at the end of the day it's all about being safe, trying to make money, and learning from your mistakes.

I have read many threads on this forum, tons of useful information.
