Hey Jack, I just got in so Ill post cart pics tom, lol, As far as why isnt the custom green, I thought about it, but really didn't want to paint the whole truck, cab doors, interior etc, and that gold with the green looked pretty close to a John Deere, so that wasn't happening, so I tried to keep enough of the factory gold so the int. still matched the other color is called Sunset, it was a one year only color for Ford F150's in 2014, my old pickup, loved the color, couldn;t get it on my new one? 20160218_145138.jpg

Nah, not much of a Mopar guy, a Hemi Dart would be about the only Mopar I would own, lol, Lets see, starting from the front left, 62 E100 5 window pu, 63 E100 3 window pu, 63 Tempest Gasser coupe, 63 tempest drag car, 69 Firebird T/A convert clone, 63 lemans coupe, 69 Firebird 400 cp, 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, then 2014 F150 sport, and the 2010 Pete 384 Crew cab, I also have a larger building with more cars in it. That is an older pic though, some of those cars/trucks are gone.

Since Jack mentioned it here are some pics of my latest project, not really a big deal of any kind, just something to play with. The original purpose was to build something of a full size adult go kart/buggy, something I could run around town with (small town, paved roads, nobody cares) but also I go to a lot of races and swap meets, some of these shows and swap meets cover acres of stuff, a lot of people will trailer in side by sides, golf carts etc.

Normally I dont mind walking, but if you happen to find something that you cant live without, you are stuck either walking it all the way back to your car, which of course is always a mile away, or carrying the part around with you the rest of day, a real PITA, so I decided to build something that was big enough that I could fit it, but small enough so that I would not have to trailer it, and I wanted it to fit UNDER and INSIDE my pick truck bed/cover so that once my cover and tailgate were locked down nobody would know there was anything in there let alone try and steal it.

BUT, it also had to be fast enough to keep me entertained, all of the carts I looked at were small and most had 5-8 hp motors, this will have a 17.5 motor and a custom highspeed transaxle, flipped upside down and sideways so that I can run a direct drive CVT right from the bottom of the motor to the bottom drive of the transaxle, no idlers, no clutch pedal, no chain, no jackshaft, etc, Should be good for around 50+ mph, we'll see? Just another goofy idea? 20191019_161655.jpg 20191019_161528.jpg 20191019_161504.jpg

The way the auction lots are looking now might a good time to pick up cheap equipment.
The Ritchie bros. Lot at Morris Illinois is packed with trucking equipment.

    That's neat!

I've seen videos of a 70 mph mobility scooter. I'd love to build one of those for when I'm old and grey. I'd just ride around and challenge young punks to races lol.

I have been looking for a donor vehicle for my 372 Pete, thinking of pulling the BC4/9sp and swapping in an ISL/Allison, I only need about 350hp and I am thinking about trying to make that 372 a Flat Floor! And the ISL is a LOT shorter than the BC4. Been looking at a lot of Buses and wrecked diesel pusher motorhomes, lol
