It's friggen AWESOME!
No more pixalation when a truck goes by. I get all of the channels (too many) I get at home on DISH except the locals. And it's super easy to set up.
I mounted a small plate of aluminum with four holes in it on top of my mirror arm (Prostar) and it rests against the smaller stabilizing arm. I unscrewed the four rubber feet on the Tailgater and screwed in studs. These studs stick thru the four holes on the plate and I use a large wingnut on one of the studs to keep the unit from falling off. I take it in and store it in the box when traveling.
All in all very impressed with it!
Well I got the Tailgater up and running...

Joe...
Do you happen to have a picture of this mounted on your truck?bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Be sure to keep the tailgater stowed in a place with minimal shock from bad roads. The tailgater won't take a lot of vibration and shock abuse and it will stop it's seeking ability. Would be interested to know how this setup works LONG-TERM in a trucking environment.
Gears Thanks this. -
