Well it happened. Got an over dimension citation.

    I was at 43.5 feet from kingpin to rear axle
    Tennessee limit is 41

    I should have double checked, but I could have sworn it was 45. NOPE!
    I was planning on double checking but I had such a hard time getting into the right position to balance the wheels I completely forgot once I was done.

    Anyone know how much the fine would be? I was also given a level 2 inspection. Everything ok. Except that

    I can't remember ever seeing them measuring in Ten. I was next across the scales in Georgia once when they came out and measured the truck in front of me, I knew I was illegal and figured I was next, but just got the green light.

    Track length will leave you crossing the centerline on curves. The roads just werent built for it.

    It is a way they can still give tickets and make revenue, since the feds made all states allow 53's and any length tractor, that is why.
