    some of the gravel roads we’ve hauled down have 4 and down to 2 ton wooden bridges.
    County won’t replace them and only way back to the fields without making them buggy full loads down the highway for miles, causing problems and backing up traffic

    In construction sometimes you go over low weight limit bridges. It's not always posted for capacity, but more for traffic control.

    I went over a 5 ton bridge with 105,000 lbs. The trick was the bridge was only 8 feet long so it never had much more than an axle at a time on it.
    Problem around here is they don’t put up any signs at all until you actually get to the bridge, then it may be 4 miles to back up to get turned around.
