I’d change a couple of things:
1). the new SS antenna mounts by Robert at Clays Radio Shop.
2). The other change I would make would be to the smaller TAC COMM TRC-1 Radio Carrier.
- Uniden 980 & baby amp inside; and
- West Mountain Radio ClearSpeaker attached to an outer side panel.
- Quality mic of choice on a GEARKEEPER at top of left corner.
-Industrial Velcro to keep on dashtop.
The carrier has optional top plate and end cover. Get both, IMO.
It’s actually an easy truck to run your own Co-phase coaxial and clean DC power with a dashtop radio.
