This is not good. I would not like to be the person to go fetch this Volvo. If it was a freightliner, this could have been a lot worse for the driver.

I just ran across this vid on YouTube and my first thought was " Now that's a driver that has just had enough. Probably sat too much and decided he's not stopping any more" Then I read the whole story. Man what I wouldn't give to have been a fly on the wall when WX found out one of their trucks was on the loose. I wonder if the truck was totaled out or if some dude is out trucking around in it now and can't figure out why its "not quite right".

Link is bad now, how about a link that takes you to the video directly?

Good grief! If this is the video your talking about, it was posted some 6 months ago on YouTube.

Also was posted on this board elsewhere, perhaps a mod can point it out. Thx

Yeah I was just romping around on YouTube and saw it. Pretty wild video. The one thing that I can say is he didn't terrorize the town. I mean, yeah he drove around without steer tires and wouldn't stop but I didn't see him running anyone off the road or colliding with the public especially.

Any body notice that between 45 secs and 50 secs the dumb axx rubber neckers on the other side were stopping to rubberneck and a 4wheeler got A holed by another 4wheeler that couldn't stop?

Don't the QC equipped trucks have a company controlled kill switch???? It shouldn't be that hard to get a hold of the company thru either QC or by calling their number even the after hours number and getting an engine kill signal sent out.

LOL driver may have been getting load closer to delivery. Why stop a truck when you can get more free miles?
