I once was stuck in a replacement International (13 letter manure spreader) with "always on" running lights/headlights.
Impossible to cut them off to flash a driver over, after he passed you.
And I refrain from/despise using high beams to do it. -

It took me maybe 20 minutes, and was worth every single minute.

As a company driver, failure of truck batteries is not my problem. I'll just call road service to drop new ones in and dispatch for another appt.
I hate to be difficult but in my time modification of company equipment was grounds for being fired.JReding Thanks this.
