I have a friend who has a 2007 "star car" as he likes to call it. Problem is the interior and the sleeper compartment are just...pitiful. In sad, sad shape. I personally think its beyond salvation.... It's really a crying shame.
If you had to guesstimate the cost to gut the interior and rebuild it, all of it. What would you think would be a ballpark figure? Nothing fancy pants, just comfortable and functional.
Have any of you ever gutted and rebuilt, or had it done?
Do people even do this?
Where would be a place to even look in order to research it?
All the sites and things I've found are mostly for custom rebuilds on the cab space, not the sleeper. Except of course the crazy expensive "condo" type.
Any suggestions, advice, words of wisdom?
Western Star "Rebuild"...

Any upholstery shop that does car work thats worth a #### should be able to help you out at a reasonable cost. or call around to the salvage yards for some used stuff

Salvage yard might have a good interior, Just hope it has'nt got rained on.
Go to an uphostery "sp" shop and talk to them about redoing the inside..millsjl01 Thanks this. -
DIY cheapest. Sewing machine and auto upholstery by the yard off ebay and amazon. Re-use the old cardboard just rip off the upholstery. Factory replacements from WS dealer most expensive.

If you are going to re-do it this was a great thread / idea on here a few weeks ago.....
