Cherokee Freight is a good company. I used to deliver fuel and oil to their yard in Stockton. Everyone seemed happy. Good equipment and clean shop. They encouraged their drivers to keep the trucks nice from what I observed.

Shot you a private message. I suggest you prepare a script for John Smith. Begin with the phrase, "John Smith is a Madera legend. Born in 1876, John Smith has been tarping loads in Madera since the fall of the Nazis. John Smith is a meticulous worker who has a fond love of chewing tobacco, spanking his horses, slapping his horse, riding his horse, chewing tobacco whilst roping small horses, and funning around with his old boy Ronald." That is so inside, they'll have to love you after this.

Will start on Monday the 19th I will let you know. From what I was told it’s 17$ hour straight time, no ot but you get a % of the load and they pay you if you happen to lay over. Everyone that I have spoken with have not given me any negative feedback about the company. They are also union.
