I have otr flatbed experience and local dry-van experience (automatic & manual). I'm looking to live on the road for a while running otr flatbed while maximizing the amount of money I can make. I can go anywhere in the USA. Any recommendations?
What are some good flatbed companies to work for?

If I were going to go flatbed, I'd probably look Jordan out of Natchez, MS first. Smaller company, travel everywhere, decent amount of oversize loads.
What state is your CDL in? Some of these flatbed companies may not hire based on where your CDL is located even though you want to live on the road. @Chinatown will probably see this thread and offer other suggestions as he is the man with all the plans.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Look at Daseke for flatbed.
Another company just purchased Daseke, but still looks good for flatbed drivers. -
I'm out of Texas. Thanks for the suggestions will look into itbryan21384 Thanks this.

Funny how the local company I work for currently recently got purchased by the same company TFI about 6 months ago lol. They are buying up everything!Chinatown Thanks this.

Oh you're gravy then. Just every flatbed company will hire you.

This company has a good reputation, though they are not know for their flatbed division, they have one. Ask the recruiter about it. Since you want to stay on the road, they got a road warrior program. I didn't even know that they also had a CDL school til just now. China, you could probably add this one to your CDL school list.Chinatown Thanks this. -

Yeah, id avoid a former Daske company till we find out who'll be running that circus. Currently, Wylie is in the lead.jdchet and offtherails Thank this.

I was thinking about going with Wylie, reviews seem one way or another. Talked to a recruiter seems alright. My fear is not getting the miles with them. I want to WORK and gross over 1700 a week. Home time does not matter.

And I see you work for Lone Star, I was thinking about them also. But do they watch cameras? For example if you are driving and pick up your phone are they going to call you and complain?
