What are the best Kcups?

Not the only one. Have no use for them.

Drinking distilled water can be a problem.
The distilling process removes all disolved solids from the water. It is water closest to its purest form, it is also quite corrosive. The pH is almost 7, making it a neutral, the problem here is that it will bind and strip anything it comes into contact with. When drinking distilled water, it will pull trace minerals from the body. Calcium is a big one. Thats your teeth and bones.

My house has a water softener system installed, but it isn't working. It was in the house when I bought the house, so I'll need to get it checked. It looks almost like a smaller hot water heater and it's in the garage.

 

Not going to kill you, just make your bones brittle.

I think if any minerals are stripped from my body by drinking distilled water, than perhaps my body dont need it. Being all organic minerals are dissolved by water, fats, or alcohol. Our body does not use non organic minerals.

 

How long has it been sitting inop?
The chances are, the unit may need to be replaced.
They don’t like not working once they have started.
Should you decide to not replace the system, that would be a good place to install a large scale filtration system, or whole house system as some are marketed. Good kits run about 600to 800 for a 3 stage system. Filters should be about $100 to $135 a set. The thing is, you have to be very diligent on replacing the filters every 6 months. Maybe more depending on you municipal water quality.

 

Not sure how long it's been inop. Bought the house a few years ago, but just moved in 4 mos. ago. Some renters were in it when I bought it, so I let them stay while I did some other things. Don't know if they used it or not. I'll get it checked out. Thanks for the help.

 

Vegas area water is the worst for softener systems in the whole country.
Or I may be thinking water heaters. Average life of one in Vegas is yearly needing to be replaced.
