Just to make sure everyone is clear, this wasn't me.
My Godson just had a wreck where he laid his truck over in Illinois. He is unhurt, but the company canned him and told him to go back and talk to them after 6 months or so. He feels he's finished. I told him he isn't finished yet, that there are companies out there that will put him to work, but he'll have to deal with the #### end of the stick for awhile. Apparently he ended up with two cites; one was because he was in a construction zone, apparently and I'm not sure what the other one was. No injuries and no other vehicles involved. I told him to come on here and ask for Chinatown's advice, since I've seen that guy steer hundreds of drivers toward redemption over the last decade or so.
So, Chinatown, Old Buddy, (and anyone else that wants to chime in), what are your thoughts?
He feels like a failure and I told him all is not lost.
What are the odds of getting hired after laying a truck over.

What is the context for laying the truck over ? Was this driver error ? High winds? Ice ? ... id say there is a difference between laying a truck over because u were avoiding a catastrophic wreck vs. Laying a truck over cuz u had 1 ft on the dash and not paying attention
