What brand of oil do you run?

LOL! You are correct. Most of the time, the higher price on off the shelf oils is spent on race cars, truck jamboree concerts, marketing and other stuff. It costs a lot of money to run spots during a Nascar event or the Super Bowl. Find a brand you are comfortable with at the best price you can.

 

i run rotella in my truck but will be switching to CAT engine oil on my next oil change as they told me of some benifits to it over regular oil.

 

Texas Refinery Corp. in all boxes and I use their grease.

 

Delvac now. Used to be A Rotella guy but I too found it didn't seem to hold up as well in my previous truck as Delvac. I also found my truck ran hotter with Rotella than Delvac.

delo 738,000 on a c-15 acert uses about a quart in between 20,000 mile oil changes

 

transam runs royal purple so when on the road thats what i change it with
dont know anything about it
All i really know is diesels hate different oils break in with one brand a stick to it worked best for me
in 35 years of marine diesels
And I loved Lucas on old tired engines kept a tired 3406 alive with 10 lbs of oil pressure a whole year extrawith Lucas
brand new engine sitting in the barn was too lazy to haul the boat out to change the engine till it gave up

 

Delvac with a gal. of lucas.

 

Whichever is cheaper.

 

i use what my truck likes. cuz it don't like every brand out there.

and all brands aren't created equal.
