What can you tell me about 3rd party Testing (state of Pa)...Wife asking here)..

    The $350 I stated was a fee from the 3rd party tester not the state. You pay whatever the penndot fees are before taking the permit test and that is it.

    Sounds like you have a vehicle to test in so just schedule the driving portion with the dmv as soon as you can after getting the permit. As I said before you have to wait at least 15 days from the issue of the permit. Good luck!

    If you take the test in a school bus, you are required to have a school bus endorsement test on the permit. The tester is to make sure that this is done in case of an audit of their license.

    If you pay $3k for a class b, you are getting ripped off.

    For one of the easiest thing to get, a cdl, it should not be a big deal,
