What cdl practice test do you need to get permit with swift ?

Swift doesn't issue the permit or a cdl, check out what the state you are testing in requires, as the government issues the permits and cdl through the DOT.

 

You need general knowledge, combo, and air breaks to get the permit to start school.

Don't worry about hazmat yet.

 

Just go to cdlexam dot com and memorize every question for all the tests...It costs like 10 bucks a test, but its the actual questions...On a 50 question test, you'll have to memorize 75...If you go thru them, by the 3rd time your remembering the correct answers...go thru em' everynight and they will all be stuck in your head forever!!
Its a lame step in the big journey....knock em out, get 100%'s, and then youre real schoolin will begin...
Nothin worse than failing one then having to go back for retest...

So even though a drunk driver doesnt give a fat frogstwat how you have your warning triangles spaced out, the state sure wants to make sure you know how to do it...lol

Oh, important, check with all your local LTL's first to see if they are takin newbies...If your in or near the big market areas, they might be!!
Any LTL better than swift otr....Expect a NOT, but if you got lucky with one, you'll thank me later...lol

My pals kid got on with DATS as a newbie in Phoenix..Look at ABF UPS CSX etc etc..heck even SAIA/ESTES YRC, all better than swift otr
