14 years oil and gas construction/directional drilling, worked 10 years in the field to put myself thru University. Moved into the Office as an Operations/Project Manager, thought I had it made. Then 2014 happened, company went under, got laid off 3-4 times, ended up working Construction as an Electrician and got laid off from that also. Dad drove in the 70's and 80's, so I had always been around it. Decided to go for it after the 4th layoff, now I run OTR Reefer.

I was in high school working for my dad or whoever needed an extra operator on weekends. Bought my first truck right before graduation. A week or two later i was running loads. The next four years if i want in class i was hauling something. Certainly paid better than any other part time college job. Somewhere along the way i got disillusioned with the goal of getting a real job after school and just kept trucking.
