Thats my biggest issue it seems like without an inverter or just a smaller cigarette lighter type inverter is that you are severely limited. For instance ive done some research it seems like most laptops use about 100 watts, most modern game systems use about 150 except for the wii. It seems that a small inverter like that really limits you to just tv and possibly a laptop or something small. I do love reading but I'm the kind of person who can read 300 pages in two days so traditional books are not an option. Id have to store close to 20 books just for a month

Before I started at swift I couldent fall asleep without a tv. Now I can't fall asleep with one on. I prefer my music on for sleep but I can do without if needed. Tried to sleep watching a movie last night, wound up turning the tv off and turning up the sat radio... humans adapt. It's what we were designed for. You may discover that you like bare bones ruffin it style truckin. Or maby your miss all your creature comferts. But yeah without power your limited to basically books a phone and a radio... but they do make 12v tv's with built in DVD players. If you want.

Those seem to be my best option. I love reading, crossword puzzles and the like but they seem to take up a lot of room. Also I have direct tv and can watch on my phone. The 12 volt tv isn't a bad option except for the fact i can't have satellite TV in the truck. If i could find a way to connect my phone to my tv then I would
